When a ticket is purchased, passengers are able to transport any baggage as long as it meets the following general requirements for free:

  • Contains items like clothing and personal belongings that are necessary for the passenger's comfort.
  • The passenger's full name, address, and phone number must be written on the outside and inside of the bag.
  • Items that fit within the weight and size restrictions listed in the general baggage conditions will be shipped for free. Oversized and overweight baggage may incur additional charges.
  • Items exceeding 107 inches (272 cm), not including wheels, and/or weighing more than 100 pounds (45 kg) (70 pounds / 32 kg on flights to/from Bahamas and Cuba) will not be allowed as checked baggage and must be transported as cargo.

Please Note:

The luggage policy of the airline that sold the ticket, the Marketing Carrier (MC), will be in effect if the destination or departure city is in the United States for codeshare flights. The Most Significant Carrier rule allows the airline that is listed as the first carrier on the ticket to transfer the baggage rule requirement to another airline in the itinerary.
